JCB Personalised Invitation

JCB machinery plays a huge part in sculpting the modern world. From agriculture to construction, power generation and access, their machines are on site in over 150 countries around the globe. It’s a fact that they’re immensely proud of.

JCB’s involvement in motorsport spans over 40 years and in 2019, they announced their partnership with the SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team.

Choosing one of the most iconic racing fixtures on the calendar, JCB choose VueTV® to create individual video brochure invitations for VIP guests.

The stunning hardback video brochure included a 7” HD screen offering the user a full viewing angle.

The video brochure cover and the outer sleeve was finished with a beautiful soft touch laminate that created an elegant touch and feel.

A spot UV gloss varnish was added to elevate the company logo and each video brochure was personalised on the inside front cover.

Dunlop

Driven by an all-consuming passion for the game – playing it, improving it, sharing it. And that the game belongs to everyone. No matter where, how well, or how often you play. Dunlop provide every player with access to the same, beautifully designed, technically sophisticated sports products.

They do this by understanding there is no end goal. Just an unending series of incremental improvements that make their products lighter, stronger, faster. That help players take control of a crucial match. To find that little extra something to chase down the next victory. Then the next.

For more than 130 years, this love of the game is what drives Dunlop forward.

Launching a new premium tennis racket across the world to customers and associates, Dunlop selected the Ultimate with a 5” HD screen to promote their new product. Printed in a solid black with a specific Dunlop yellow and finished with anti-scuff laminate plus a subtle spot UV to the cover. Multiple video uploads in multiple languages were added to the books, packed into individual bespoke packaging and distributed around the world from Japan to the USA. Dunlop trusted VueTV® to manage the complete process from manufacturing through to worldwide delivery of each video brochure.

Guiness World Records

Guinness World Records, known from its inception in 1955 until 2000 as The Guinness Book of Records, is a reference book published annually, listing world records both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world.

GWR works with leading global brands and businesses to break world records as part of bespoke marketing campaigns. Let their team help engage your audience through unforgettable moments of sheer amazement and wonder, whilst delivering bottom-line results.

Wanting to create awareness for businesses to include a world record attempt as part of a creative marketing campaign, Guinness World Records selected the Ultimate video brochure with it’s amazing 7” HD screen. Printed full colour throughout and finished with an eye-catching gloss laminate. Also included was a 2hr rechargeable battery and a massive 1GB of memory that can play approx 50 minutes of content (this can be 1 video or x10 5 minute videos).

The video brochures were held in stock at VueTV® and call offs were made electronically as and when required.

Capita Workplace Technology

Capita Workplace Technology is a leading provider of fully managed workplace solutions to the UK public and private sector, specialising in managed print, collaboration and workflow technologies.

With over 30 years’ experience in the technology, document and information sector, they utilise their comprehensive business review and consultancy approach to understand and deliver solutions that are designed specifically for their clients’ organisations.

Capita Workplace Technology enables organisations to create a new digital workplace that meets the demands of today’s workforce by introducing innovations that enable information to flow as effectively as possible throughout their organisations.

Capita had created an engaging company overview video that was located on their website and other media platforms, but wanted something more personal to deliver this content when introducing the business to potential customers.

They chose the Pocket video brochure with a 3” HD screen. Printed full colour throughout and laminated on softback covers. It has a 1hr rechargeable battery and a memory of 128mb (approx 10 mins playing time) which was more than sufficient as the content is only 2m 17s.

Howdens Joinery

Howdens is the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier providing thousands of products across kitchens, joinery, and hardware. They have more than 700 depots throughout the UK and Europe – making them the first choice for more than 470,000 loyal trade professionals.

Founded in 1995, Howdens has grown from just 14 depots to more than 700 across the UK and Europe thanks to the success of their trade-only model. They only sell to trade who have the expertise to ensure their products are fitted to the highest possible standard.

An innovative way of delivering training as part of the Safe to Trade programme brought video in print to the entire workforce. Partnering with VueTV®, Howdens were able to upload their new safety videos into A4 hardback video brochures containing a 10” HD screen. Additional features included; AC adaptor, multiple speakers, large hardware memory plus additional memory and convenient updates via an SD card. All brochures are individually personalised to the respective depot and finished with an anti-scuff laminate.

The University of Manchester

The University of Manchester is a public research university formed in 2004 by the merger of the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and the Victoria University of Manchester.

The UoM holds a special place in history. Their origins as England’s first civic university are closely linked to Manchester’s development as the world’s first industrial city.

Supporting the more traditional printed prospectus book, The UoM wanted a selection of exclusive video brochures to help attract potential students from the UK and overseas to join the campus.
The beautiful silver foil blocking elegantly showcased the university’s coat of arms. A pantone matched visual identity purple flooded the A5 softback cover along with two additional colours on the inside of the brochure that highlighted the control buttons.

The video books were finished with a stylish soft touch laminate.

YODEL

Yodel is a delivery service company and is one of the largest couriers along with Royal Mail. It was originally known as the Home Delivery Network, until it acquired the B2B and B2C operations of DHL Express UK and thereafter, rebranded itself as Yodel in May 2010.

Yodel delivers millions of parcels every week to every postcode across the UK. They have more than 50 sites nationwide to help get your parcel delivered on time, no matter where you need it to be.

They work with a variety of sectors, including fashion, leisure, health and beauty, home and garden, electrical, gifts, publishing and entertainment. They also offer specialist handling for delicate items such as wine and flowers.

An internal communications tool, Yodel purchased a quantity of generic designed A5 7” hardcover video brochures and left the goods in stock at VueTV®.

We then arranged a print-on-demand service. When a video brochure(s) was required, we received details of the recipient and individually personalised the inside front cover making each product completely unique to the beneficiary.
